About the Classic Rock Dance Party Duo

Bob Desmarais – Vocals & Guitar

Bob Desmarais has been performing since high school, logging over two thousand live performances! Inspired by his dad, Bob started playing guitar at age eight, and is going strong after more than 50 years of playing.

Bob performed in the late 70’s in the Hit & Run band, and with Metal Angel in the early to mid 80’s. In addition to the Classic Rock Dance Party Duo, Bob also performs in the Sonic Boomers acoustic duo. Additionally, Bob performs his solo act “sing-along for seniors“, performing well over 100 shows a year.

Bob owns NHTunes Music Studio which is located in the Manchester mill yard. he graduated with an MBA from Southern NH University, and also completed the Guitar Certificate program at Berklee Boston.

Jim Sambataro – Vocals & Bass

Jim Sambataro has had an interest in music early on, and started playing bass guitar at thirteen years old. From 1979 through 1983, Jim toured with Larry Alltop and The Exciters band. They played hotels around the country, as well as the Caribbean.
Since then, Jim has played in several local cover bands, such as The Classiques, Rhythm Coalition, Groove Alliance, Introduction/Tribute to Chicago, Erick Prestons Purple Haze/ Tribute to Jimi Hendrix, and most recently Something Else.
In 2007 while with Groove Alliance, Jim had the honor of playing to our U.S. troops in the fortified Green Zone.
Jim has attended Bass Nature Camp, located in Nashville TN. There, he had the privilege to study with world renowned bassist’s Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey.
Jim has now collaborated with Bob Desmarais to put together the newly formed Classic Rock Dance Party Duo!
Jim is excited to share all his music experience with you all.
