Dylan Byrd, a multi-instrumentalist and composer from Manchester, NH, began musical studies through high school Jazz and Marching bands, leading to a BM in Composition from Berklee College of Music 2019. During his time there he developed robust compositional and theoretical skills while also participating in a variety of ensembles as a drummer, guitarist and bassist covering a wide expanse of genres. Besides the standard guitar and bass lessons Dylan specializes with fretless and extended ranged instruments such as 7-10 string guitars or 5-7 string basses. With a student interest focused teaching philosophy, Dylan’s goal for any of his students is to find out what inspires them and then leverage that as the main means of learning, never losing sight of why they wanted to study music in the first place.
