Located in Manchester’s mill yard, NHTunes Music School offers private acoustic, electric, and classical guitar lessons. We teach all ages and skill levels, from absolute beginners to advanced players. We’re celebrating a decade in the music instruction business, and have a staff of experienced, educated instructors that love what they do! Our 30 and 60-minute private lessons are custom tailored to each student’s skill level and goals. For beginners, regardless of which instrument you play, acoustic, electric, and classical guitar lessons will focus on the basics: tuning your instrument, playing the correct way to avoid injury, and effective practicing techniques. Classical guitar lessons focus on reading music, and playing songs with chords, melodies and arpeggios. Acoustic guitar lessons focus on chords, strumming, and reading tablature and chord sheets. Electric guitar lessons focus on open, barre and power chords, and picking/strumming techniques specifically for rock & pop music. Regardless, acoustic, electric, and classical guitar lessons focus on learning the songs that YOU want to play!
