We are pleased to offer a music theory class in Manchester NH!
Whether you want to learn a bigger picture of music outside of your choice instrument, or learn music for the first time, this class can help out! Our music theory class will show you music as it comes together as a whole. It will show how and why chords are made up the way they are. It will also show the different ways to arrange a song or figure out what key a song is in or how to change it to a new one.
What you’ll learn:
- How to read sheet music and how it pertains to your instrument
- Scales and how they relate to each other
- Major and minor chords
- Chords in each key
- Inversions
- Chord patterns
- Lead sheets, and how to arrange your music
The music theory class in Manchester NH (held in the NHTunes studio) starts Friday June 6th, 6:30-8pm, and runs or four consecutive Fridays. The class is taught by music instructor Micah Blake, who has his Master’s Certificate from Berklee College Of Music. The cost for the course is $100.
